The Department of Research of Underground Groove & Sound is the studio and music project of Argentinean producer Cisco Parisi, based in Berlin since 2014.
A long-time presence in Berlin’s underground rock and pop scene, Cisco has toured internationally on synths with Minimal Schlager, DJed and booked nights across the city, and produced records for some of Germany’s most compelling new artists, including Fritz Ali Hansen and RUHR.
MUSIC
STUDIO
Tucked away in the heart of Kreuzberg, the studio is a boutique recording and mixing space shaped by the sound and spirit of the '70s and '80s.
Vintage guitars and synths, rare outboard gear, and high-end preamps meet the flexibility of modern DAWs and virtual instruments — a setup built for character, clarity, and experimentation.

SERVICES
The studio is available for production, mixing and mastering.
If you need a hand with your music—whether it’s beats, recording, arranging, or mixing—just hit me up. We’ll figure out what works best for your project and get it done.
If this is your first time sending a track for mixing — don’t worry, I’ve got you. Here’s everything you need to know:
1. Tell Me About Your Vision
Please include any notes about your track and how you’d like it to sound. You can also share links to songs you’d like me to use as a reference.
2. File Format
Send your audio files as WAV or AIFF, with a sample rate between 44.1 kHz and 96 kHz. All files should start from bar 1, be the same length, and have the same sample rate.
3. Effects & Processing
Please send your tracks dry — without reverb, delay, or other effects.
If a specific sound or effect is integral to the track’s feel, you can leave it in.
Unsure? Send both versions — one dry and one with effects.
4. Editing Services
Need help with vocal tuning, timing, or noise cleanup? Editing services are available for an additional fee — just let me know.
Once the first version of your mix is ready, I’ll send it over for review.
You get up to 3 revisions included at no extra charge.
When you approve the final mix, you'll receive:
A high-resolution stereo mix
A mastering draft — suitable for streaming or sharing
7. Payment
50% is paid upfront
The remaining 50% is due once the final mix is approved
Payment via bank transfer or PayPal
No refunds once work has started
If this is your first time sending a track for mastering — no worries, I’m here to help. Here’s what you need to know:
1. Submit Your Final Mix
Please send me a finished stereo mix (WAV or AIFF) with a sample rate between 44.1 kHz and 96 kHz. Make sure the mix sounds the way you want it before sending it for mastering.
2. File Requirements
Your mix should be bounced from start to finish, without any clipping or distortion. Avoid extra processing like final limiting or heavy compression — leave that to the mastering stage.
3. Reference Tracks
If you have songs or artists whose sound you want your master to be inspired by, please share them. This helps me understand your vision.
4. Delivery
Once the mastering is done, I’ll send you:
A high-resolution mastered track ready for streaming and distribution
A version optimized for digital platforms (like Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
5. Revisions
You get up to 2 revisions included to make sure you’re happy with the final sound.
6. Payment
50% paid upfront
Remaining 50% due once you approve the mastered track
Payments accepted via bank transfer or PayPal
No refunds once work has started
